Acaricide and insecticide with specialized action, characterized by its high efficacy against a wide range of piercing-sucking pests such as mites (acarids) and leaf miners. It is widely used on vegetables, fruit trees, and ornamental plants.
Itamec 1.8% acts through both contact and ingestion. It affects the pest’s nervous system by stimulating the chloride ion channels associated with gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), leading to paralysis and death of the insect or mite within a short period after treatment.
